What is the root cause of this?why are we not able to solve this ?Considering the resources and wealth available in the world ,it is not an impossible task.We cannot say that the earth doesn’t have resources for a the entire population,because we can easily see a whole family of billionaires and millionaires throughout the world and a major junk of them are there in the developing and developed countries also.

The problem is mismanagement of resources and lack of proper  distribution not lack of resources,till this is addressed the problem of poverty will never be actually solved.

Earth has enough for our need not for our greed

There was a rich man  in the village,but he was greedy person and he was also a customer of the farmer. He used to get his butter from him and in return he would give the farmer some fruits which he grows in his farms.Life went on for a while ,one day the rich man was little anxious whether the farmer is giving him the right quantity of butter.he used to buy one kg of butter daily,so he took his weighing pan and measured it ,it was less than one kg.So he got angry and went to the village sheriff to file a complaint against the farmer.

The honest village farmer was so disappointed hearing this,but he was courageous with his honesty so he went to meet the sheriff and there was a gathering to solve this issue.the sheriff asked the farmer ,whether he gave one kg butter? and the farmer replied ” yes, I gave”.Then the sheriff measured the butter an showed that it was not one Kg,suddenly it struck the farmer,he said “Dear Sheriff,i am an illiterate , so i never used any weighing machines,i used to buy fruits from the rich man and he gave me one kg of fruits and i gave him an equivalent amount of butter”

So the sheriff got the message.he immediately ordered huge fine for the rich man.

So what we give to others is what we get.

This post is gonna be about me and my thoughts,unlike the previous ones which are philosophical.But can i write a post about me without having any philosophical thoughts in it is a real big question mark and i have to see.As of late, I am very much addicted to philosophy of life and God.All i can think of and read is something or other related to this.All throughout my life it was journey of addictions to me, first it was sports especially cricket,being an Indian u ought to have that, then it was in music ,then photography ,architecture and designs ,which made me a so called civil engineer now and finally now its into philosophy,which i hope will make me a better person. i am happy that i have ended in a right sort of addiction rather than going for some third rated stuff and spoil my whole life on that.

Trailing through the important events in my life , i feel really overwhelmed to see the hand of God,his blessing hand ,his causeless mercy in each and everything ,which has given me the best of what life can offer in this material world.Starting from a very loving and dedicated family , a very affectionate set of good valued friends,a great academic life which portrayed my talents to the outer world .

Now i stand at yet another crossroad  in my life, I don’t have the slightest clue of what i am gonna do ?.Sometimes i am puzzled and vexed about this.But then i realized,its not that I tried and found these parents ,friends and all the good things;they all came naturally to me by God’s arrangement and they happen to the best i can get.So why should I worry?

I can just sit back and enjoy the journey of life which God has planned  meticulously  for me and if i completely surrender to his safe and loving hands he will definitely give me a thrilling roller coaster ride full of happiness and bliss , with heaps of love and affection which will mesmerize the heart to have ecstasy of joy!!!

I think this is what he portrayed by being the charioteer(Sri krishna) for his beloved and devoted soul(Arjuna).

So continuing our discussion from the previous three posts,starting from who we are?, we have come to a logical conclusion based on the vedas that we are the spirit souls and not this body,because at death the body remains but there is no life( consciousness) which is the inherent quality of the soul.

So what is the Purpose of Life? According to Sri Krsna ,as spoken in Bhagavad Gita is “to serve God and revive our eternal relationship with God”.To elaborate this,we are all spirit souls and we are part and parcel of Sri Krsna and we are also eternal(no birth or death) and we lived with him in his spiritual planet “Goloka Vrindavan”.That is our real home and he is our original father and each of us has an eternal relationship with Sri Krsna in many different ways(as parent,friend,lover,servitor etc).By loving exchange with Krsna in our particular relationship we become eternally happy.But God gives us the free will to choose what we want to love.If we choose to love him and be with him we can live eternally in his kingdom.

But if we choose to enjoy independent of God, that also he allows us to do (even though thats not good for us) by sending us to this material world were we think ,we are the doers of anything and completely forget God and live in our own whimsical ways trying to satisfy our desires ,but they never seem to be getting satisfied !!! So some of us may say,if its not good for us to live in material world, why God allow us to come? he is the supreme controller so he can force us to stay with him. The reason is simple ,we cannot force any one to Love somebody,similarly God does not force us to love him,but he desires that we should love him,because that is the ultimate benefit for us.If a son loves is billionaire father and stays with him, he can be happy.

Similarly,if  we love our original father and stay with him ,we can be eternally happy.So for those of us who want to enjoy on our own,he facilitates us by sending us to this material world and gives a chance to enjoy ,but as much as we try to enjoy on our own we will never be truly satisfied,this we can see from our day to day life.how much you eat chocolates one day ,the very next day you want o eat it if u see it. The passion for chocolates may transform to something else in due course of time say money,fame ,respect,achievements ,success,family and so on..but our desires to enjoy independent of God remains the same  and it never gets satisfied!!,the only solution is to love God and get happiness by doing loving service(we are doing this to everyone our family, friends etc) to him.

So the purpose of this life (especially human life) is to revive our dormant love for God and understand our eternal relationship with God and to do loving service to him.

Its simple and logical.If we see around us ,we can easily notice some people are born in  rich ,educated family and some are born poor,with some physical difficulties right from the birth. So why should God put some of us in suffering and some of us in a good condition right from our birth? is he partial? of course not he cannot be partial ,then why? It implies that we have a past and to reap our deeds we are put in a particular situation,so if we have a past before birth in this life,we should have a future after this life (death) thats logic.This implies that the we are souls and not this body as described by the vedas`

But is it pure love? if it is so why there are so many quarrel,fighting,divorces and so on? Where love is  there , there will not be quarrel that is logic.So it implies that what we see in society is not pure love. So what is pure love?

Pure love is one in which there is no tint of selfishness and ego,but we are all selfish and ego in some degree or other.If we are open minded ,we can admit that easily. So when that selfish motive or ego manifests itself,quarrel begins. it can be see among family members,between friends,between lovers,in our work place and everywhere.

So if we can’t we even have pure love among our family people,what to think of world peace,thats a far fetched question.So how to develop pure love???

The fundamental question is “What is the purpose of life?” and when we think deeper about it ,many questions arise and they are, who am I? where have I come from and where will i go after death? Understanding these are very important before going in to the purpose of life .Many of us believe that our life starts from our birth and ends at our death.But there is something wrong in this understanding.

Lets see this in detail, suppose you ask a person  who are you ? he may say his name,his qualification and his family blah blah blah…and finally he may say that he is his body. If we are our body,at death what is happening, the body is there but there is no life to it, this is our experience.So it means that there is more to our body which gives our identity and not our body itself.This we have to understand properly.

Scientists say that our body is made up of so many chemicals,this and that.But there is something more to the chemicals which makes us feel ,that is our consciousness ,that is the one which separates us from non living things made of the same chemicals, also its the one which is not there when some one is dead.So where does this consciousness comes from  ? is the next question..

I saw the ants getting dangerously near the spool of water, which is a big ocean for them(ants!).So out of fear i  took a piece of paper and slowly tried to block their way to the water,so that they don’t get drowned.But relentlessly they are trying to go towards water,without knowing the danger ahead and also they are not able to see the higher intelligence which tries to save them( in this case me).

This made me realize the fact that in life we may want to do  or achieve something,but that will not happen.We may think that is the best thing for us and since it did not happen we will be grief stricken.But we fail to realize the hand of higher intelligence(God) who knows what is good and dangerous for us ,better than us.

So life is beautiful and everything is God’s gift so lets cherish it.

By no time ,1 hour has passed and I started wondering about my life. From my childhood i have done reasonably well in academics and now landed in a fairly decent job and hopefully my future is secured.But there is a nagging question in mind , “What is the purpose of life?”

Is it to earn money? to have a job? to own a house ? to have a good family? or to serve others(poor and needy)?

There are so many people in this world who could have achieved all or some of the above,but are they really happy or feeling complete satisfaction? if we are open minded we can easily admit that the answer is no. there is always some anxiety. This means that there is something more to life than what is mentioned above. So what is it ?
